DOGTOWN - At 4:59 pm a van with the potent odor of marijuana wafting from it reported to Highway Patrol. Caller also said the occupants were passing something among themselves. Highway Patrol cited driver for possession of marijuana.
DILLON BEACH - A subject booked at 2:39 am for assault. Two groups had a confrontation. One man arrested for using fists indiscriminately.

WOODACRE - A caller at 7:51 am reported a toilet used as a planter smashed in parking lot of the Improvement Club. Toilet carried to the Improvement Club by the vandal who smashed it.
Friday, April 25
BOLINAS - Coast Guard dispatchers reported at 9:59 pm to MCSO a Coast Guard helicopter had a green laser pen pointed at it six times. Their pilot reported it appeared to be coming from a party in a backyard. Deputy checked the area and found no signs of a social gathering and saw nothing suspicious. Coast Guard advised.
MUIR BEACH - A driver reported at 3:53 pm his rental car burglarized eight days earlier. He reported goods taken valued at $4000. Report filed.
Thursday, April 24
WOODACRE - A resident reported at 3:23 pm that within the past year someone has been accessing her computer to get documents. She also reported some missing money. Advice given.
WOODACRE - A resident reported at 12:46 am a burglary occurred sometime on Tuesday. A home safe and jewerly taken.
Wednesday, April 23
MUIR BEACH - A woman sitting on an inn's lawn talking to herself rported at 10:09 pm. Her behavior worried the caller about her psychiatric health. She was arrested and booked for use of dangerous drugs.
POINT REYES STATION - A caller reported at 3:14 am a possible hazard. A kite became entangled in some high voltage wires and had its string dangling into the traffic lanes. Deputy cut off line as short as he could and called PG&E.
Tuesday, April 22
BOLINAS - A taxpayer reported at 9:25 am a Caltrans worker asleep on the side of the road with his vehicle running and lights on. Caller cited Earth Day and waste of taxpayers money. Deputy was unable to locate.
Monday, April 21
WOODACRE - At 4:28 pm a resident observed a car with a man holding a rifle. The man appeared to be pointing the rifle at something on an opposite hillside. Deputy was unable to locate.
WOODACRE - At 8:46 am the Woodacre Postmaster reported numerous alarm activations in the past days and weeks. She said the lobby is open 24 hours and she determined that homeless people were camping in the lobby. She requested extra patrols and advice. Advice given.
Sunday, April 20
INVERNESS PARK - At 8:08 am a woman who has been away from her Inverness home on vacation reported that her PG&E bill had been increasing over the past three months. She was nervous and wanted a deputy to check the house for squatters or energy tappers. Deputies checked the house and told the woman that nothing looked unusual, at which point the woman explained that her bill had jumped from $3 per month to $6 per month.
BOLINAS - At 1:00 pm a woman whose speech was slurred called to say that her dad was taking her car. Deputies checked the area but no one said they had seen her.

DILLON BEACH - At 3:29 pm a man was arrested after getting drunk and into a fight on the beach.
INVERNESS - At 6:48 pm a neighbor reported that two men next door were yelling "Die, die!" at each other. Deputies found a man, who said he ha been arguing with his girlfriend on the phone, and told him to keep it down.

MARSHALL - At 1:29 am a local was reported in the road, eating a banana.
POINT REYES STATION - At 4:46 pm someone reported that a woman was hitting her husband's truck with a baseball bat. Deputies spoke with the woman, who agreed to grab her clothes and leave for the weekend.
Thursday, April 17
POINT REYES STATION - At 10:29 am a one-and-a-half-year-old boy called 911.
TOMALES - At 3:45 pm parents reported that their blond 14-year-old daughter had disappeared while playing in the creek. Later the girl told depupties that she had become upset with her parents and had left to get a sandwich.

WOODACRE - At 5:29 pm a father came home to find his 11-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter naked inside before the boy ran out the door.
TOMALES - At 6:58 pm someone reported that a neighbor had tried to cut down a eucalyptus tree, which was now hanging down, leaning against another tree.

MUIR WOODS - At 10:35 am a woman fell on a trail and reported that her hand was bleeding.
Monday, April 14
BOLINAS - At 11:01 am someone requested that a deputy stand by while Trader Joe's unloaded free food downtown.
BOLINAS - At 11:36 pm a woman in her late 20s who had recently been released from the county mental ward was reported to be out of control. Deputies found the woman, who was violent with them, and took her back to the hospital.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 3:26 pm someone reported that several one-week-old black, silky chicks had been stolen from the person's chicken coop an hour after the person had refused to sell the chicks to a man who had asked to buy them a couple of days ago. A report was taken.
BOLINAS - At 11:38 pm someone reported that a woman with short, dark hair had entered the person's house and had screamed before the person moved her outside, where she was still in the driveway wearing jeans and a dark top.

STINSON BEACH - At 12:40 am deputies assisted a 19-year-old who said he had taken both meth and acid and was throwing up.
BOLINAS - At 12:35 pm someone reported a sister who had gone to a Buddhist retreat center in Santa Rosa and had not been heard from since.

POINT REYES STATION - At 4:10 am someone was warned not to sleep in a car.

STINSON BEACH - At 5:07 pm a man who had been home all day with his wife reported that a burglar must have entered their house and stolen his false teeth from the cup of water they were in. Deputies found no signs of entry.
LAGUNITAS - At 10:05 pm a husband reported that he and his wife's aunt had attacked one another.

POINT REYES STATION - At 12:36 pm a tall man in his 40s was reported loud and apparently drunk in front of the bakery.
INVERNESS - At 7:26 pm a man reported neighbors who he believed were drunk and who had just started up a woodchipper.

POINT REYES STATION - A junk car was dropped off for disposal at 9:19 am.
STINSON BEACH - At 9:24 pm a car covered in cobwebs and with rotted tires was marked for towing.
Monday, April 7
POINT REYES STATION - At 8:11 am someone reported that the front door of the new Wells Fargo had been egged during the weekend; the bank agreed to leave the egg until deputies took a look at it. It was noted that the bank's ATM was egged last week.
BOLINAS - At 12:16 pm someone at a surf shop claimed that Crazy Jane had posted profane notes in his window and was now parked in her white camper 20 yards from the shop. Deputies spoke with Jane, who insisted she did not write the notes.

MARSHALL - At 6:02 pm someone called to ask about runles such as whether or not you can camp out here, or leave your car here while you launch your boat, etcetera. Deputies informed.
POINT REYES STATION - At 9:17 pm a parent reported that a 15-year-old daughter who had been fighting with her brother was out of control and banging on the door. With the parent's permission, deputies transported the girl to a friend's house to sleep.

BOLINAS - At 2:08 am a green Ford with "psychedelic"painting on the side was tagged for towing.
BOLINAS - At 9:20 pm someone reported about 20 youths yelling and pushing each other around in the middle of Brighton Avenue. The caller was worried that they might get violent.
Friday, April 4
BOLINAS - At 2:38 pm a man called to follow up on a call made yesterday about an ex-son-in-law who presumably has an outstanding warrant for arrest.
STINSON BEACH - At 11:05 pm someone reported the theft of a red mountain bike and a blue road bike that were locked to a street sign at the bus stop earlier today.

STINSON BEACH - At 8:54 am dark smoke was reported to the rear of the firehouse.
DILLON BEACH - At 9:49 pm a woman who had just eaten a popsicle that she said was not sealed and tasted strange to say that her heart was racing. She thought she may be having an anxiety attack.

POINT REYES STATION - At 4:33 am a cob-webbed car was marked for towing.
WOODACRE - At 2:46 pm someone was reported to have fallen from a horse.
Tuesday, April 1
WOODACRE - A woman at 9:10 am reported that her husband may be hacking into her computer.
BOLINAS - At 2:38 pm someone complained that Crazy Jane, dressed in a red jacket and wearing burlap wrapped around her head, was yelling for the last hour outside the library. Deputies found Jane, who had finished yelling, and told her of the complaint. Jane said she would not yell anymore for the remainder of the day.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 6:57 pm a landlord called to say that a tenant, who is being evicted tomorrow, is busy packing things that the house had been furnished with before the tenant moved in. Deputies inspected the house and found that the items had not actually been taken.
INVERNESS - At 8:20 pm someone complained that a neighbor was "doing residential construction." Deputies found that the neighbor was in fact constructing picture frames for an art show.

BOLINAS - At 3:47 am a huge, loud party was reported at the bottom of the little mesa. Deputies calmed it down.
STINSON BEACH - At 4:28 pm a woman reported that her mother's ex-boyfriend, with whom she has a tumultuous relationship, had come to the house and taken her mother's dog, without permission, to Oakland.

BOLINAS - At 1:46 pm a Bolinas man calling from Novato reported that his ex-wife was inside his house and was breaking things.
BOLINAS - At 9:13 pm someone reported seeing a man and woman pull a mattress into a grey van that was packed with lots of stuff. The person had also seen them changing clothes in the street. Deputies found no one at the van, but marked it for towing.

INVERNESS - At 2:02 am someone asked that an older Mercedes that had been parked for three years on or near her property be towed.
INVERNESS - At 12:13 pm a woman called to say that a report she made earlier of a stolen ham radio was unnecessary; she had since found it.
Thursday, March 27
BOLINAS - At 12:01 am a woman called to ask deputies to check on a house her family owned in town, which had a history of harboring drunks and drug addicts. The caretaker's phone line had been disconnected and she had been unable to get in touch with him for three weeks.
FAIRFAX - At 1:01 pm a woman reported that an unmarked, dark blue helicopter was hovering very low above her house. Deputies found that the helicopter was delivering olive trees to a neighbor.

NICASIO - At 12:08 pm a small indoor dog set off a house alarm.
STINSON BEACH - At 9:01 pm someone reported seein an older man peeing on a neighbor's property, near a silver Vanagon he appeared to be staying in. Deputies contacted the man, who was planning to stay overnight in the van with a woman, but decided against it.

TOMALES - At 3:14 pm a daughter reported in broken English that her mother's social security number had been used by a company in Petaluma.
WOODACRE - At 4:40 pm someone reported that cans of paint were exploding in a fire on the deck of the person's house. CHP was already assisting.
Monday, March 24
POINT REYES STATION - At 6:14 pm someone reported that two aluminum ladders, with a value of $400, had been stolen out of the front yard in the last two weeks. After checking the property, deputies found that the ladders had been moved to the other side of the yard, possibly by landscapers.
OLEMA - At 7:58 pm someone reported a large, black horse running free three miles south of the Olema Deli. Deputies ended up helping workers from Stewart Ranch corral the animal, which was a cow, back onto their property.

SAN GERONIMO - At 10:30 am someone complained that two women and a large dog had been sleeping in a white sedan for the past three or four days. Deputies spoke with one of them; she denied having slept in the car.
POINT REYES STATION - A man at 12:06 pm called to ask for help contacting his 8-year-old daughter, whom he has never met but believes lives in Bolinas. He said that although he has no parental rights, he was "straightening up", and thought he could "see how his girl is". Deputies encouraged him to abide by the court ruling.

DILLON BEACH - At 11:49 am someone reported that a boat had capsized and two people were in the water.
BOLINAS - At 6:56 pm a woman reported that her backpack had been stolen and was spotted in a locked, blue 1990s Volvo station wagon across the street from her house.

STINSON BEACH - At 1:50 pm a deputy spoke with a resident who, similar to last week, reported that a former friend had come into the resident's house uninvited and had taken M&Ms.
POINT REYES STATION - At 4:54 pm someone called concerned about a strange-looking man driving a black Mustang with two children inside; one of the children was not sitting in a carseat.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 9:56 pm a tenant called to ask about tenant and landlord issues, but was being vague about her situation.

BOLINAS - A woman at 8:39 am reported that skin products amounting to a $145 value were stolen from her purse, which had been left overnight inside her unlocked Subaru Outback.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 8:37 am a son reported $200 missing from his mom's purse, which had been left in her car overnight.
BOLINAS - At 11:56 pm CHP asked deputies to meet at the Bolinas and Highway One intersection to discuss the hit-and-run suspect, who was arrested a short time later.

TOMALES - At 11:30 am a mother alerted deputies that Tomales High had called to ask her to pick up her son, who was banging on windows in his classroom.
BOLINAS - At 7:34 pm a tenant reported that a landlord had taken the tenant's belongings and placed them outside; the tenant had a backlog of unpaid rent. Both of them had been drinking, but they agreed on a date to settle the rent and deputies encouraged them to avoid each other for the rest of the day.

BOLINAS - At 8:28 pm deputies got a report through a Spanish translator that someone had seen several women taking drugs in a car, and on Overlook had been asked whether he had any drugs.
FAIRFAX - At 10:30 pm a man called from a care home to say that his roommate, a woman in her 50's and taking psych meds, had come out of her room yelling and screaming for no reason, and had knocked on his door wanting to talk to him about evil in the world.

STINSON BEACH - At 8:49 am a shop owner reported that a couple of days ago a 19-year-old had come into the store smelling like a bottle of wine, and had left toward Seadrift.
BOLINAS - At 11:17 am someone called to complain that airplanes were flying too low overhead and were not showing up on the radar. She said she also called the airport.

BOLINAS - At 11:17 am a woman called and complained about checks; deputies noted that she was not making much sense.
MARSHALL - At 4:06 pm a large black Winnebago towing a car was reported disabled on a tight turn and was totally blocking the road.

STINSON BEACH - At 5:17 pm someone reported an attempted burglary.
Wednesday, March 12
NICASIO - A motorist at 4:09 pm reported seeing an old Ford pickup drop 80, 2-foot tall marijuana plants near the reservoir 10 minutes ago. The pickup was headed toward Fairfax. Rangers dealt with the plants, which were on Open Space land.
WOODACRE - At 7:20 pm a man reported feeling threatened by a former friend while at his mother's house and at work, and wanted a report taken.

TOMALES - At 4:44 pm a 17-year-old reported a dislocated shoulder.
STINSON BEACH - At 8:02 pm a fight between an 11-year-old girl and her mother was reported. The girl had thrown a chair and had punched her mom in the chest. Both were calm by the time deputies arrived.

OLEMA - At 8:55 pm someone reported a homeless person at the Sacred Heart church who was asking about a place to stay. Deputies took the woman to downtown Point Reyes Station.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 3:23 pm someone reported that an unwanted person had entered the caller's house uninvited, and though the person left when asked to, the person had uttered rude comments on the way out.
WOODACRE - At 4:36 pm someone asked if they could remove a temporary monument that had been erected on a roadside for a person who had died there.

BOLINAS - At 10:00 am a 75-year-old man was reported on Wharf Road, yelling about selling his art. The caller said the man had been yelling and cursing all morning. Deputies told the man to quiet down.
BOLINAS - At 8 pm some young adults at a quincinera party accidentally dialed 911.
Thursday, March 6
BOLINAS - At 10:03 am an 84-year-old woman called to say she was feeling dizzy and not well in her head.
TOMALES - At 3:35 pm a student was found extremely drunk in school. The student was taken to the principal's office, then transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital, and eventually released to parents, and cited for public drunkenness.

INVERNESS - At 11:23 am someone complained that a man was "cutting up an old car for scrap and draining oil into the creek." Deputies found that the man had dismantled his vehicle on state property, but that less than a gallon of oil and gas had spilled--none of it getting into the creek--so as long as he cleaned it up things were good.

FAIRFAX - At 1:44 pm a 70-year-old woman reported injuring her ankle near the dam, about a half-mile up from the Lagunitas picnic parking lot. No bone was sticking out, she said.
WOODACRE - At 2:41 pm a man who wants to throw a party this summer called to ask about the noise ordinance.
Monday, March 3
FAIRFAX - At 6:33 pm a man reported that he had lost his wife an hour ago on the Lily Gulch Trail. He was standing by his car above Alpine Dam, and his cell phone was losing power.
STINSON BEACH - At 8:25 pm a woman reported getting numerous harassing text messages from her boyfriend's wife.

TOMALES - At 12:28 am a man wearing a black hat, green jacket and gray shoes, who had no money for a taxi, was reported on the road, looking for a ride to Sebastopol. He said he had lost his wallet and then decided that he really had no particular destination.
BOLINAS - Someone at 2:02 pm reported a man in an old red van near the tennis courts who appeared to be selling and possibly making drugs.

POINT REYES STATION - At 3:56 pm someone reported that a 2005 Ford truck was broken into while parked at the Randall Trailhead.
TOMALES - At 10:33 pm someone reported a car in a ditch off the Tomales-Petaluma Road, and two Angus cows were herded back into a field across from the Spaletta ranch.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 8:45 am a woman reported several fraudulent charges on her credit card. A report was taken.
FAIRFAX - At 1:40 pm someone called to say a man with short black hair and a red shirt appeared to be having sex with a woman in a black Honda Accord.
Wednesday, February 27
MARSHALL - A contractor at 10:31 am accidentally set off an alarm outside the sauna door because he did not enter the code quickly enough.
BOLINAS - At 9:51 pm a 27-year-old man had fallen, possibly drunk or having over-dosed, outside a church on Brighton Avenue.
Tuesday, February 26
BOLINAS - A 50-year-old man was found hung to death at 9:38 am.
BOLINAS - At 4:33 pm someone reported that the man with whom he had been arguing had just poured a beer on him and had left with his two black dogs. The caller did not want a report, and stated that they were both simply upset about their friend, who had died that day.

POINT REYES STATION - At 4:18 pm a young man who had run away from home was returned to his mother. Deputies issued him a citation at the mother's request.
Sunday, February 24
FOREST KNOLLS - At 9:42 am someone reported that the top of a power pole had snapped off overnight. The lines were down but there seemed not to be any danger.
LAGUNITAS - At 12:16 pm a woman who has emphysema asked for help building a fire in her fireplace.
Saturday, February 23
NICASIO - A suicide by gunshot was reported at 2:10 am. Coroners removed the body.
BOLINAS - A resident at 7:06 pm reported an electrical fire in the lines in front of the resident's house. The lines were shut off and moved off the road, and traffic control was provided for PG&E and the fire department.
Friday, February 22
DILLON BEACH - At 4:45 pm someone reported that several people were camping on the beach. When the person asked them to leave, one member of the group agreed to go "as soon as his friends come back from collecting shells."
MARSHALL - A black Honda was reported swerving all over the road at 5:45 pm.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 1:39 pm a man called deputies, weeping, and said that he wanted to talk with someone about getting sober from alcohol. The man was taken to Helen Vine.
OLEMA - At 5:03 pm someone reported a disturbed looking woman walking south without a coat. Deputies checked the area.

INVERNESS - A caller at 9:57 am reported an unfamiliar woman walking her bicycle and screaming at nobody. Deputies found the woman, who said she was fine and did not want any help.
LAGUNITAS - At 1:18 pm a resident reported that a UPS driver had entered the resident's house. Advice was given.
Tuesday, February 19
POINT REYES STATION - At 9:30 am a woman asked for help retrieving her belongings from a place she used to live in; her ex-roommate had not responded to calls asking him to return them, since she does not own a car. Deputies advised the woman to call back when she has a car.
STINSON BEACH - A person at 10:22 pm asked for help tracking a child who was driving down from Portland and was due at 6 pm. The person wanted to know if GPS could be used to track the child's cell phone. Advice was given, and the child later showed up.
Monday, February 18
WOODACRE - At 11:08 am someone reported that around 10:30 am three men in a pickup pulled up alongside the property and dropped some stone, which had damaged the person's fence. Deputies found the men, who were working nearby, and asked them to remove the rock. There was no real damage done to the fence.
DILLON BEACH - At 7:08 pm a woman called from the store to report three carloads of people who were camping on the beach and had built a bonfire.

STINSON BEACH - At 12:08 pm deputies spoke with the parents of a couple of kids who removed a piece of a coffee cart during the night.
DILLON BEACH - At 10:08 pm someone called to say that four men were throwing fireworks into the dunes. Deputies checked the area and talked with other campers who said they had heard fireworks but they had stopped an hour ago.

TOMALES - Two children called from the school yelling "murder" in a background at 11:05 am. An announcement was made in the gym not to use the pay phone to make prank calls.
FAIRFAX - At 6:35 pm deputies got a report of a blonde man in his twenties wearing a plaid flannel shirt who smelled like he was drunk. Deputies found the man and cited him for public drunkenness.

DILLON BEACH - A caller at 9:35 am was worried that a couple of surfers were swept away after seeing only one of three men who had gone into the water a half an hour ago come out. The caller then spotted the men at the north end of the shore, and found they were okay.
POINT REYES STATION - At 1:35 pm someone reported a jacked up black Chevy that had driven by a few minutes earlier and had shot paintballs on the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 9:23 am a person was cited for trespassing and dumping on a private tank site.
WOODACRE - A woman at 10:21 am reported that a man in a 1965 blue Chevy was swerving in and out of the lane and had thrown coffee in her window.

INVERNESS PARK - At 1:54 pm a loose white dog was reported on Sir Francis Drake near Balboa. Deputies found the dog, called the owner and returned it to its home.
SAN GERONIMO - A deputy at 10:12 pm marked a tire on a parked car with a penny.
Tuesday, February 12
TOMALES - At 3:02 am a landlord reported that her tenant's brown travel trailer had been parked in the driveway for the past six months, and she wanted it removed. Deputies explained the procedure for removing private property.
FOREST KNOLLS - A resident at 11:38 am reported that a Yamaha scooter had been taken from her unlocked barn on Tamal Road during the night. A report was taken.

SAN GERONIMO - At 9:21 pm someone reported that a man was in the post office, drunk and with his pants down. Deputies found that the man was in fact not drunk, but lost. He requested a ride over White's Hill, and was taken.
Sunday, February 10
TOMALES - A resident at 2:22 pm asked that deputies make a welfare check on a 60-year-old man whom the resident said had already consumed two bottles of wine today and was unable to get around. Deputies found the man in well-enough condition, and a report was taken.
BOLINAS - At 5:15 pm a ranger reported a suspicious man with two large dogs on the north side of the Bolinas-Fairfax Road. The man had come out of the bushes, and the ranger suspected something illegal was going on. Deputies responded.

OLEMA - At 2:54 am an alarm went off in the Olema Farmhouse Restaurant. Deputies found a glass clock broken on the floor, and assumed this was what set off the alarm.
INVERNESS - At 10:07 pm someone reported that two very drunk individuals had just driven away in a sedan. Deputies found the driver not to be under the influence.

FAIRFAX - A resident at 6:01 pm reported many - roughly 30 - cows, which were not usually there, were on the ridge above the resident's house. The resident "believed they were real," though deputies did not find any there.
INVERNESS - A resident at 11:22 pm called to say that numerous trucks with bright lights were in the area, and wanted the area to be checked. Deputies did not find any.

WOODACRE - At 7:58 pm someone called to say they had been called by a woman who said she "had no reason to live" and was going to take the 80 Xanax and 20 Ambien pills she had. Deputies checked the residence, which was uninhabitable, and did not find anyone in the area who knew about the woman.

LAGUNITAS - At 9:10 am a woman reported that she saw a UFO at around 5:30 am. She wanted an OFCR to call her back, but wished to remain anonymous. The woman was called four times and did not answer.
MARSHALL - A resident at 11:10 pm said that the resident's daughter, who just had an eye operation and could not see, was alone in her house but thought she heard someone enter. The owner said the same door has opened and closed on its own in the past. Deputies found no one prowling.

STINSON BEACH - At 8:20 am, a woman called to report that her caregiver had slapped her in the face, breaking a tooth.
NICASIO - A resident at 11:34 am reported that 25 cows were in his backyard. They appeared to come from a Lucas Valley property, but he had no luck talking with the owners there. Deputies cleared the cows off the road, and waited for people from the Silveira ranch to escort them back over the hill.

BOLINAS - A woman at 8:02 am reported that her son "is in the kitchen making coffee and talking to himself." The woman wanted him out. Deputies told the man to go.
BOLINAS - At 10:27 am a caller reported a stolen 1999 white Plymouth Voyager. The caller suspected a 15-year-old foster child, and suggested deputies look in the Tenderloin in San Francisco. The San Francisco Police Department decided to handle the recovery of the vehicle, and booked a suspect that day.

BOLINAS - At 8:39 am a woman asked for help in getting rid of a couple of tenants, who had written a letter to her asking for money, and claiming she had harmed their dog. Advice was given.
STINSON BEACH - At 10:26 pm a mudslide was reported across both sides of Highway One. The fire department called CHP.

FAIRFAX - At 5:28 pm a man reported that he had lost one of his hikers, a 61-year-old in a blue raincoat and orange baseball cap. Deputies searched, and returned the missing hiker to his party.

BOLINAS - At 10:49 am a woman called to talk with a deputy about "her situation," which was that her son had been up at 3 am making coffee, disturbing her from sleep. Deputies advised, and the woman called back to say that she wasn't sure if she had spoken to a deputy or someone else. The deputy assured her that she had talked with him, and she replied that she did remember his voice. She also said that she did not want a deputy to come to the house since she didn't want "the situation to escalate."
BOLINAS - At 1:16 pm a woman who had spoken earlier with a deputy reported that she was still upset with her son, who was "in the kitchen talking inappropriately," and wanted someone to come to the house. Deputies came and consoled them.

FOREST KNOLLS - At 7:09 am a resident reported that she was concerned about an employee who had not showed up to work yesterday. She had called his cell phone and found that it was turned off. Deputies contacted the man, who was fine and said he would call his boss.

Deputies located the van in the Palace Market parking lot, and after talking with the owner concluded that he had simply forgotten where he parked it.
NICASIO - At 4:40 pm the driver of a Toyota Tundra became stuck in mud at mile marker 4.4.

MARSHALL - At 7:15 am a patient in intensive care at a Kaiser hospital requested help contacting his or her family. Deputies got no answer at the number, so they left a note at the house for the family to call the hospital.

MARSHALL - At 12:55 am a resident reported two black and white cows on the edge of the road. Deputies helped the cows to the other side of the fence.

MARSHALL - A resident at 12:22 pm reported that her neighbor was shooting a gun on his property, and that it was not uncommon for him to do so. She did not want to file a report, only advice about what to do.
INVERNESS - A resident at 10:19 pm reported that she had lost her wallet, which held her drivers license, social security card and some cash, somewhere in Bolinas. Deputies left a message at the woman's home.

MUIR WOODS - At 9:16 am a person reported that the day before, a man in his thirties, roughly 5' 8" and a red-head, had jumped in front of the person's car and demanded money. Deputies advised.
BOLINAS - At 4:01 pm a resident reported that, while trying to get her mail at the post office, a man wearing black had waved his hands at her, as if she should know who he was, trying to direct her passage through the road. Deputies found that the film production crew had the proper permits.

BOLINAS - At 1:32 pm a resident requested advice regarding her neighbor, who keeps coming into her yard and perhaps into her house. The resident, whose husband - also the landlord - is out of town, would like to place a restraining order on the neighbor. Advice was given.
POINT REYES STATION - At 4:18 pm a resident reported getting phone messages claiming that the IRS needed to talk to him about "expenditures". He concluded that it must have been a practical joke.

TOMALES - At 11:06 pm a resident called to report that her daughter had been bitten by another girl during a basketball game at Tomales High earlier in the day. The woman had taken her daughter to the hospital, where doctors confirmed the teeth marks.

OLEMA - At 4:52 pm a man reported that his wife had gone missing while hunting mushrooms. Deputies responded, and the woman was later reunited with her husband.
POINT REYES STATION - A resident at 10:15 pm reported people on his property, on the far side of a pond 50 yards from his house. The people seemed to be looking at him. The man later realized that the people were in fact reflections in the pond from the neighboring house.

BOLINAS - At 12:59 pm a resident called to report that a man was walking around a house, in which no one but the caller and the caretaker were allowed. When the caller confronted the man, he said he was "at the agency." Later, when the caller served the man small claims papers, he refused to look at them, and called 911.

The woman said that the owner was cutting brush down on her property and looked her in the face and said, "You don't know what I'm going to do to you." Deputies spoke to the man and marked his trailer to be towed.

A child left a message for the [gentleman] to deliver money to a location in San Francisco." Advice was given.

MARSHALL - At 7:23 pm a restaurant employee reported that three men had been standing around a vehicle "yelling and screaming for the past two hours." The individual heard a loud explosion, possibly a "gunshot or fireworks." Upon investigation, the sound was found to be an oyster that had exploded in a fire pit. The subjects in question were fishing and playing their car stereo. They agreed to keep the music down and the oysters out of the fire.

WOODACRE - A resident at 10:24 am called deputies sounding "distraught," and claiming that she was going to "take herself out." Deputies spoke with the woman's doctor who advised that his patient was in sound health and had been trying to manipulate him for medication.

BOLINAS - A resident at 5:12 pm asked deputies to remove a man from his property. The caller was upset because the intruder had poured out his beer and "held the bottle in a threatening manner."
BOLINAS - At 4:54 pm, a man reported that he was being harassed by a woman who threatened to fight him. The woman was described as having short brown hair, and a missing front tooth. Deputies agreed to investigate.

BOLINAS - At 3:45 pm deputies attempted to deliver a warrant to a resident, but discovered that the resident has not lived at the address on file for ten years.
FOREST KNOLLS - At 9:53 am deputies recovered 18 marijuana plants from a local residence. The plants were sent to sheriff's property storage, and will be destroyed.
BOLINAS - A resident at 5:24 pm reported that someone stole a bottle containing 25 prescription pills. The woman seemed confused about the details, but suspected it was a homeless man that she had let spend the night.

WOODACRE - A resident at 2:51 pm reported that someone had entered her home through an unlocked window and had stolen some food from her kitchen. Deputies recovered an egg, an orange, and a dishtowel outside the woman's front door.

STINSON BEACH - At 12:52 pm a transient man caught fire after loading excessive amounts of fuel into his BBQ grill. His face and arms were badly burned and he was transported to a hospital.

LAGUNITAS - A resident at 7:06 am reported an ongoing problem with her neighbor. The man has repeatedly come on to her property and "leered at" her. She had a witness and wished to call back when she had more information for a report.

WOODACRE - A woman at 9:26 pm reported a dispute with her brother. She was upset when her brother removed a fence and scared her cat. Deputies advised her on how to handle the dispute.
BOLINAS - At 6:16 pm a resident attempted to file a police report against Ebay after being sent merchandise different from the merchandise she ordered. Deputies dispensed civil advice.

BOLINAS - Deputies at 12:56 pm agreed to speak with a resident who continually dumps woodchips on another resident's property.
STINSON BEACH - A woman at 5:46 pm said her husband was threatening to commit suicide and she feared that he would burn the house down. The husband told deputies that he was cleaning out the fireplace, and that his wife suffers from mild dementia.

NICASIO - A resident at 7:07 am reported 900 feet of copper wire stolen from his property. The wire, which was pulled from the ground by the thieves, was used to power water pumps in the caller's vineyard.
WOODACRE - At 10:19 pm a caller said a neighbor was playing drums outside along with recorded music.

WOODACRE - A resident at 9:16 pm reported that gas was stolen from his truck that was parked on the street. His son's vehicle also had gas siphoned from it.

NICASIO - A resident at 8:51 pm heard a very loud radio in the neighborhood. Deputies met with the owner of the radio, who said he was using amplified music in his cherry orchard to keep the black birds from the trees.
POINT REYES - At 1:38 pm a 911 call came in from a couple of children left home alone. Deputies found out the kids were just playing with the phone, there was no problem.

BOLINAS - A woman at 3:12 am was heard screaming about invisible attackers. Deputies did not find she was mentally unstable, but had gotten scared and screamed for help. She was allowed to ride her bike to her room in downtown for the night.

POINT REYES - A man named "Jerry" was observed at 8:49 pm driving northbound on Highway 1 out of town. The man has been identified as a troublemaker and has caused problems on the campground in the past by driving erratically.
FAIRFAX - Officers at 5:10 pm responded to a report of a woman pepper spraying a subject on her property after he refused to leave. The other party involved later filed a complaint stating that he had been pepper sprayed while serving legal papers.

SAN GERONIMO - At approximately 2:30 pm, a man with "brown bushy hair and a slight beard" approached an 11-year old girl and followed her for 1/2 of a mile, calling her a "murderer." The girl's father called deputies at 3:40 pm when she returned home, and a report was filed.

LAGUNITAS - Deputies responded to a call at 9:45 pm that came from a woman claiming her neighbor had damaged her vehicle. The caller also stated that the neighbor had verbally threatened her saying "You are going down." Police advised the woman on possible courses of action against the threats.

DILLON BEACH - Deputies at 9:05 pm responded to the report of a verbal disturbance. Two groups of kids were on the beach, had a conflict and one kid hit another. When the parent of the 'hittee' confronted a parent of the 'hitter', the 'hitter-parent' hit the other parent "in the face with an open hand." No report was taken. Deputies counseled both groups.

NICASIO - A resident at 12:43 pm reported a postal package "containing arch supports," stolen from "the gate where it was dropped off."
BOLINAS - Medics at 5:31 am assisted a 13-year old boy who was possibly drunk and had lost consciousness was found lying in the middle of the road. The boy had suffered no injuries or trauma. An adult walked the boy home.
