Consulting wars employ new marketing strategies to make fun of the the competition's brand positioning.

LONDON, July 12, 2002. First Accenture, formerly Anderson Consulting, used the image of a coffee cup on the home page of its website. Now upstart Monday, formerly PWC Consulting, as opposed to PriceWaterhouseCoopers non-consulting (are you still with us?), has put an entire coffee pot on it's home page. The prophesy stamped on the Accenture cup pretty much says it all:

Brewing more confusion, an enterprising Brit has registered the domain Moday.com, and is using it to divert would-be Monday traffic to the Accenture site.

ADDING TO THE HIJINKS: For those of you who can't tell a consultant from a donkey, visit this satirical appropriation of PWC's "Introducing Monday" website created by yet another enterprising (on the dole) Brit.
